Explore the fundamentals of throwing on the potter’s wheel, from preparing the clay to glazing your pieces. The workshops run once a week for 4 consecutive weeks. Each session is 3 hours, for a total of 12 hours.

WEEKS 1 AND 2: Introduction to material and technique - learn to prepare the clay and throw bowls and cylinders under an instructor’s guidance.
WEEK 3: Refine the pieces made during the two previous sessions - master the rudiments of trimming and other alteration methods.
WEEK 4: Decorate your pieces - learn about glazes and experiment with applications before the final firing. Pieces will be ready for collection two to three weeks later.

Price includes all materials and firing fees.

All courses and workshops take place at Warthestr. 68 12051, Berlin.

Ps: Clay can be messy, wearing clothes and footwear you won’t mind getting dirty is recommended.
